The #21 VK-6 Prototype is the original prototype of the VK-6 platform and represents the foundation of one of the core designs in the Klesh Guitars lineup.
Built entirely by hand in the Klesh Guitars Custom Shop, the VK-6 combines traditional tonewoods, premium hardware, and proven electronics in a straightforward performance-oriented design.
A comfortable 24 3/4" scale length delivers a familiar playing feel while the Poplar body and Maple neck provide balance, sustain, and clarity. The Indian Rosewood fingerboard and matching Makamong Burl headstock veneer add warmth and visual character to the instrument.
Equipped with a DiMarzio Super Distortion bridge pickup and DiMarzio PAF Pro neck pickup, the VK-6 offers a versatile tonal palette ranging from articulate cleans to classic hard rock and high-gain modern tones. A master volume control and 3-way selector switch provide intuitive operation without unnecessary complexity.
Finished in natural Tung Oil, the VK-6 Prototype highlights the natural beauty of the wood while providing a smooth, organic feel in the hands.
