#14 Succubus 6
T#14 Succubus 6
Chuck Schuldiner Tribute
Built February 22, 2023
Handcrafted by Shane Klesh – Colorado, USA
The #14 Succubus 6 is a handcrafted tribute instrument inspired by the legendary Chuck Schuldiner, whose innovative playing, songwriting, and musicianship helped define the technical and progressive side of heavy metal.
Built entirely by hand in the Klesh Guitars Custom Shop, this instrument embraces a straightforward design philosophy centered on performance, reliability, and powerful tone.
A 24 3/4" scale length provides a familiar playing experience while the Alder body wings and Eastern Rock Maple neck deliver excellent balance, sustain, and clarity. The Indian Rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth playing surface and warm response across all 24 frets.
Equipped with a DiMarzio X2N humbucker and a simplified single-volume control layout, the Succubus 6 focuses on directness and immediacy. The result is an instrument capable of aggressive rhythm tones, articulate leads, and dynamic expression without unnecessary complexity.
Finished in Flat Black Satin Oil Based Urethane, the instrument presents a clean, understated appearance that complements its purpose-built design.
